Hospitals and Medical Facilities

A testament to the quality of our wireless products, easy adaptability and quick deployment, 14 hospitals are now using our products across Canada and the U.S., including one in Hawaii. 

These customers have all installed their nurse call systems themselves. We programmed all equipment to their specifications before shipping, and all they did upon delivery is turn on the pagers and provided portable call buttons to patients, and/or wall-mount call stations by the beds or in washrooms.  We also provided each customer with a customized user guide.

Wahiawa General Hospital, Wahiawa, Hawaii
They set up a Covid-19 unit with 20 bracelet call buttons, 4 pocket pagers and one desktop pager.

Two Medical Centers for the University of Louisville, Kentucky
One center has 3 exam rooms, one phlebotomy lab, and one bathroom with pulls cords. They get the alarms on one pager, one desktop display and one 24-inch wall display sign.
The other center has 10 exam rooms, one phlebotomy lab, and one bathroom with pulls cords. They get the alarms on one pager, one desktop display and one 24-inch display sign.  The main reason for choosing our call stations was for the unique ‘staff assist’ feature.

Medical Center, Ochsner, Louisiana
They ordered 3 pull cords for bathrooms, 1 pager and 1 desktop pager for rooms with no coverage with their existing hardwired system.

Bethesda Rehabilitation Hospital, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
This rehab hospital ordered 1 bed station, 1 pull cord, 1 dome light and 1 desktop pager  to replace part of their hard-wired system which started failing.  They replaced the failed stations with our wireless units.

Medical Clinic, Yukon, Oklahoma
The clinic ordered 3 pull cords and 1 pager.  The equipment was ordered by their contractor.

Perham Health Clinic, Perham, Minnesota
This clinic ordered 10 bed stations while continuing to use their existing pagers.

The Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, Ottawa, Ontario
They installed 15 bed stations for temporary beds in hallways in the emergency department and one pull cord in a hallway washroom.  They especially liked the unique ‘staff assist’ feature. 

Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, Ontario
They set up a Covid-19 unit with 25 bed stations and 16 dome lights.

Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario
They ordered two push button bed stations and two pagers. They had a room where
they gave IV’s but had no pull cords in it. The nurses had to constantly be in the room during treatment.  Now thanks to these bed stations, they don’t have to be present all the time since the patients can now call them if they need assistance and the nurses are notified via their pocket pagers.  After four years in service, we have yet to receive one service call.

North Bay Regional Health Centre, North Bay, Ontario
They installed our system in one of their Lodges. They ordered 15 bed stations, 15 pull cords for resident bathrooms, 1 pull cord for the shower and 1 pull cord for a public washroom and 5 pagers.

Medical Clinic, Toronto, Ontario
This clinic installed 15 pull cords, 5 dome lights and one desktop pager.  The equipment was ordered by their electrical contractor.

CIUSSS de l’est de l’Île de Montréal, Quebec
They set up a Covid-19 on six floors of a hotel with 84 bracelet call buttons, 12 portable pocket pagers, 6 desktop pagers and 12 door monitoring transmitters for the stairwells. 

CISSS de la Gaspésie, Ste-Anne-des-Monts Hospital, Quebec
They set up a Covid-19 unit with 12 bed stations, 6 pull cords and one LED wall display.  They also especially liked the ‘staff assist’ feature.

CIUSSS du Granit, Lac Mégantic Hospital, Lac Mégantic, Quebec
They set up a Covid-19 unit with 10 bed stations and one desktop pager. A few months later, another two wings were provided with 23 and 15 bed stations to another desktop pager.

They set up a Covid-19 unit with 15 portable call buttons and one desktop pager.

Medical Clinic, Bois-des-Filion, Quebec
This clinic installed 2 pull cords, 2 dome lights and 1 pager.  The equipment was ordered by their electrical contractor.

They ordered 16 wrist bracelets, 4 bathroom call buttons, 3 pocket pagers and one programming kit.

Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba
They expanded into an area that had no call bells. They ordered 35 bed stations (with the special ‘staff assist’ feature), an LED sign and a pocket pager and installed all the equipment themselves.  They have been using the emergency call system for 5 years with only one service call; for which we simply overnighted them a replacement bed station.

Northern Health, G R Baker Hospital, Quesnel, British Columbia
When their hardwired system failed in their overflow rooms, they placed a rush order for our wireless system three years ago. They ordered 11 bed stations with push cords, 4 pull cords, 1 wall display sign and 1 desktop pager. We pre-programmed all the equipment before shipping and they installed it themselves.

Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, British Columbia
Their sleep lab ordered 4 bed stations, 1 desktop pager and one call cord PAD.

Chapman House, Grey Bruce Hospice in Owen Sound, Ontario
They purchased 9 push button bed stations, 2 portable call buttons, 5 pagers and software to enable them to program various names for the portable call buttons as they provide them to various residents.

Sepoy Manor, an Independent Living facility in Lucknow, Ontario
They have 25 wall-mounted pendants and 25 portable call buttons.

Timber Trails, Independent Living facility, Madoc, Ontario
This was a new facility with 30 rooms.  Rather than doing a capital purchase, they purchase one or two call buttons at a time as the residents move in.  We program the room numbers for the portable call buttons before shipping them, so they are up and running upon delivery.

Sisters of St. Joseph Convent, Pembroke, Ontario
They ordered 23 beds stations, 20 pull cords and 3 pagers to replace their old hardwired system.  Bed stations and pull cords were all programmed before shipping.  The maintenance department installed the bed stations and pull cords.

Watertower Lodge Retirement Residence, Barry’s Bay, Ontario
A facility with 60 residents, their existing emergency call system was failing.  Their initial order was for 10 portable call buttons, 2 pagers and programming software. They could then provide residents with new call buttons when the old system failed without a major capital expenditure.  With the software they can program the portable call buttons before providing them to the residents.  Three years later about half of their residents have transitioned to our call buttons.

This retirement residence ordered recently 1 portable call button, 1 bed station and 1 pager.  They are on trial while awaiting renovations.

Private Home, Port Carling, Ontario
A bed station and a pager used in conjunction with the customer’s own big button provides a nurse call operation for a person who cannot use their hands or arms.

They ordered 48 bed stations, 31 bathroom pull cords, 4 common area pull cords and 3 pagers.  They installed their system almost three years ago, without ever a single issue.

They recently ordered 35 portable call buttons, 3 pagers and a programming kit.

Riverfront Retirement Centre, Cornwall, Ontario
They ordered 70 portable call buttons, 4 pagers and 2 repeaters.  They converted an old school into senior living about a year ago.

Langdon Retirement Villa, Woodstock, Ontario
They replaced their hardwired system about three years ago with our wireless solution with coverage throughout the facility including the gazebo in the garden.  They ordered 41 portable call buttons, 5 pull cords for common areas and one doorbell.

Elgin Abbey, a 14-bed retirement home, Chesley, Ontario
Over the past three years, they have offered portable call buttons to residents as an option. Initially, they ordered 4 portable call buttons and a pager.

Old Colony Seniors Lodge owned by Mennonite Church, Carmangay, Alberta.
They ordered 12 portable call buttons and two pagers when they opened two years ago, and ordered another 7 as more residents moved in. 

St. Angela Merici Residence, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
They plan to have 30 residents in future and ordered initially 16 portable call buttons, 1 repeater, 2 pagers, and programming software to add new resident names.  They are a residence for retired Ursuline sisters.

The Bridges at Mission, Mission, Texas
This Alzheimer’s Assisted Living residence ordered over the last two years 22 pendants and bracelets, and 7 pagers.  They also ordered 2 wall-mounted buttons for visitors to call for staff for entry in special wings.  A year ago, they ordered 20 pagers so each of their staff would have their own pager.

This residence ordered portable call buttons for their 16 residents and 4 pagers for their caregivers.

Go Ye Village, Tahlequah, Oklahoma
This Independent Living facility installed 35 bed stations, 25 pull cords.  They also use 6 pagers and 1 desktop pager.

This nursing care facility ordered bracelet call buttons and as many pagers for their 8 patients on-site, including a programming kit.

This Assistant Living facility ordered 48 portable call buttons and 8 pagers.  Caregivers each look after 12 residents in their own wing, with their proprietary pagers.

These two residences each ordered 6 portable call buttons, 5 bed alarms, 1 chair alarm, 2 pagers.   They also ordered a programming kit to enable them to change names on the transmitters.

This retirement home ordered 12 portable call buttons, 9 pull cords for their bathrooms, 2 door alarms for their outside doors, 2 pagers and 1 programming kit.

This country vacation home for seniors ordered 12 bed stations, 6 pull cords for their bathrooms and 1 pager.

L’Élyme des Sables, Sept-Îles, Quebec
This palliative care facility ordered 1 portable call button and 1 pager.

This retirement residence ordered 10 portable call buttons, 3 pagers and 1 repeater.  They are providing at this time call buttons to 10 of their 99 apartments.

This residence ordered 50 portable call button and 2 pagers.  They also required 3 repeaters since it served as a hospital built in the 1800s and was then converted to four floors with three wings of senior living.

This small retirement home ordered 4 bracelet call buttons and 1 pager.

One portable call button and 1 pager were ordered for one person with a live-in caregiver.

Small Independent Living Facility in Willemstad, Curacao, South America
For the initial purchase, the customer ordered three portable call buttons and one pager that were shipped to Miami, making his own arrangements to have them shipped to Curacao.  The second purchase, one month later, 3 more portable call buttons and one pager were ordered.  Three years later, a few call buttons are still ordered periodically.
